I am embarking on my 2nd major remodeling project and this time around, I am serving as my own general contractor.  For all of you single gals livin' the dream and wondering if there will ever be a day that you can have exactly the home you want, you can.  It's not as hard as it seems and using your networking resources can help you save money and get the job done right, on time and on budget.  Follow my progress on this project in which I will renovate and update a 100 year old single family home on the Northwest side of Chicago into a single gal's bachelorette pad.  Okay, so that might be a bit of an exaggeration...but you get the idea.
